I’m Chris, Founder and Director at Draftsmith, and I’ve been working as a Revit and AutoCAD Technician for more than 24 years within structural design consultancies.

As an Engineering Technician, registered with the Engineering Council UK, and as a Technician Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers, I have a wealth of experience creating drawings and models for projects of all shapes, sizes, and materials.

I appreciate the challenge of presenting technical information in a style that’s understandable to all - hopefully you will enjoy some of my work displayed here on the site.

When I’m not drawing on the computer, I’m enjoying time with my young family or walking my rosette winning Rough Collie (that’s a Lassie dog to you and me) Ziggy.

Established in 2011, Draftsmith is a technical drawing workshop providing outsourcing, expert advice and drawing services to architects, engineers, and contractors - utilising Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD on both new build and retrofit developments in the residential, commercial, retail, leisure and education sectors.
